Hi Guys, My Name is Jess and I did the big chop on February 15, 2009. I went from having a little past shoulder length relaxed hair to a very short TWA. *My last relaxer was December 5, 2008* It is a big change but I love it. I decided to make youtube videos after following wonderful natural hair blogs and watching many hair videos on youtube. I have always had a passion for hair care. I believe in healthy hair. Now, that I am natural I would like to share my thoughts with the vlogosphere about natural hair care and my experiences. .. I started following the CG method April 25, 2009...that means, I avoid sulfates in shampoos, mineral oil, non-water soluble silicones. FAQs Does your hair grow out of your head in that big curl pattern or do you have to manipulate your natural pattern? -I do not manipulate my natural pattern. How often do you trim your hair? -I trim every 6-8 months. How often do you do you refresh your wash and go? - 3x a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Did you get your hair shaped or did it grow out like that? -No, it grew this way. How often do you use heat? - 2x a year (I prefer wet sets and sitting under the hooded dryer-indirect heat). How long have you been doing the CG Method? - Since late March/early April 2009.
