As for the end jack died and so did juliet the only two left alive to have a future together after the Islands end is Sawyer and Kate the writers left that for us to dream about at least we know they cant stay apart for long.

Its Kate loved Sawyer she slept with him over and over on the island instead of Jack it was clear she wanted Sawyer if he wanted her back! As for Sawyer it was clear his first love was Kate, o yeah she was gone 3 years but even when then ran into the old couple he glanced over at Kate because she was the women he dreamed of being with period!! They both got off the island there together forsure!

He was worried that Juliet would find it and assume it would be for her, when in fact it was meant for Kate. And I also think that Kate figured it out, when she walked in on him, she's not stupid.I think he'd have told Kate at the pier, had she not said she came back for Claire and not him. Both of them lied to each other again for whatever reason.
