I was pretty surprised that it didn't have a strong scent. The consistency was a surprise as well. I think oil and think molasses. Apparently, I was misinformed. Happy Scalp doesn't weigh my curls down. It's interesting because you'd think otherwise for an oil. It is definitely great on my fine hair. I do tend to have a slightly itchy scalp without dandruff. My hair does grow rindonk FAST, that may be where the itch comes from. Any who, 2 thumbs up! ps the ingredients are natural, yummy!
