This is the second of two animated slideshows depicting a tea-buying trip I made to Japan, which was documented by a film crew for Europe's "360° GEO" TV show. Followed by the crew, I visited small, independent tea estates on the island of Kyushu--primarily the Aso and Hitoyoshi areas of Kumamoto Prefecture and Chiran and Yakushima in Kagoshima. I call this series "Stringing Tea" because I also worked with the film crew as their stringer--a driver, interpreter, travel agent, luggage carrier, interviewer, and all-around assistant.
